Stakeholder Analysis of Climate Action Plans

The Climate Action Regional Offices (CAROs), which assist and coordinate the Local Authority response to climate change, have carried out an analysis of the 31 Local Authority Climate Action Plans.  The analysis is useful in terms of providing an understanding of the of the scope and reach of the Local Authority Climate Action Plans.

One of the outcomes of this analysis is the production of high-level reports for the principal stakeholders that have been identified by Local Authorities as being integral to the delivery of LACAPs and DZ actions.  These reports will allow stakeholders to:

  • understand the scope and reach of the Local Authority Climate Action Plans;
  • identify the actions that are most relevant to them;
  • facilitate more informed engagement;
  • identify areas of commonality.
