Local authorities launch their strategy to lead on climate Action - Delivering Effective Climate Action 2030
The local authority sector has developed a new strategy to deliver on the Climate Action Charter and Climate Action Plan. Delivering Effective Climate Action 2030 provides a sectoral vision and mission that will help us to build on our experience and skills to mobiles climate action at a local level.
This document was developed on foot of work carried out by CAROs in 2020 and the Local Government Management Agency (LGMA) on behalf of, and in consultation with, the County and City Management Association’s Environment Climate Change and Emergency Planning (CCMA ECCEP) Committee and the National Local Authority Climate Action Steering Group.
