Applications invited for funding to support projects that combat excess consumption and reduce waste in communities.
The Community Foundation of Ireland https://www.communityfoundation.ie/ in association with the Environmental Protection Agency is inviting applications for the Environment Fund 2021 - Circular Economy. The objective of this fund is to support organisations to deliver projects or activities that will combat excess consumption and reduce waste in communities across Ireland.
Grants are available under two Strands.
Strand 1 – ‘Building Awareness’ can provide grants of up to €3,000 to support organisations to design and implement innovative online campaigns which aim to increase awareness of the concept of ‘circular economy’ and its impact on everyday life.
Strand 2 – ‘Sustaining Sustainability’ can provide grants of up to €10,000 to support organisations working within circular economy/sustainability to continue/adapt existing work, or develop new initiatives, ensuring that Ireland’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals continues despite challenges posed by Covid-19.
The closing date for applications is 29th March 2021.
