EPA Climate Change Research

Environmental Protection Agency Research Programme

This a Government of Ireland initiative funded by the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment.
 
Its current programme 2014–2020 provides funding under three pillars -Sustainability, Climate and Water and is  facilitated through the annual EPA Research Call.
 
Funding may be awarded under four themes namely;
  1. Carbon Stocks, GHG Emissions, Sinks and Management Options;
  2. Ireland’s Future Climate, its Impacts, and Adaptation Options;
  3. Climate Solutions, Transition Management and Opportunities
  4. Air Science.
