CARO End of Year Report

The 2025 Climate Action Plan states local and national government will..."Continue to support the Climate Action Regional Offices (CAROs) in the delivery of their work programme to effectively support local government to lead transformative change and measurable climate action across our cities and counties".

To comply with these requirements an annual CARO Work Programme is agreed by the National Local Authority Climate Action Steering Group to which the CARO provide regular updates on progress. An End of Year Report is also issued to provide an overview and highlights of some of the work undertaken by the CARO throughout the year​.
