Event Description

The next online delivery of the Core Programme of the Green Teams National Programme www.greenteams.ie. The Core Programme consists of three online sessions on the following dates:

Tue. 26 April; Tue. 19 May; and Tue 24 May; at 10:00-12:30 (see attached flier for more information).

Developed through the EPA’s Green Enterprise scheme by Waterford Institute of Technology and Consulteco, the Green Teams National Programme is the national programme for workplace environmental champions and green team members in Ireland. Currently delivered online, it consists of training and support to help green team members in organisations better promote sustainable action in the workplace.

Training is delivered through three (3) online sessions over a period of up to 6 weeks. Each online session (on each day) consists of a live presentation/interaction of 2 - 2.5 hrs.

In summary, the training covers sustainability, SDGs, resource efficiency, running Green Teams and getting staff buy-in. It helps green team members and environmental champions in the workplace to:

• Gain basic technical knowledge on resource efficiency.
• Develop skills to promote sustainable action in the workplace.
• Access support and resources, including peer support.
• Receive recognition for completing the programme.
