Public Sector Showcase

The Public Sector Showcase is a series of ‘meet the buyer’ style sessions where key public bodies will go over their planned roadmaps, projected requirements, and upcoming tenders for major energy upgrades. The Showcase will be in the Lansdowne Room on the first floor of the RDS for the two days of the SEAI Energy Show 2023.

Each session will last 1 hour with time afterwards to network and meet with suppliers. Organisations involved include the HSE, Uisce Éireann, Schools Retrofit Programme, Third Level and Local Authorities.


Wednesday, 29th March

Overview of the HSE Infrastructure Decarbonisation Roadmap
Lansdowne Room, 1st Floor, RDS
​Members of the HSE energy team will provide an overview of their roadmap to achieve the 2030 energy targets and outline to the market their projected requirements and upcoming tenders.

Target Audience: service providers - design services, decarbonisation building technologies, equipment and potential contractual approaches, transport management and retrofit/replacement

Uisce Éireann Strategic Investment plan
Lansdowne Room, 1st Floor, RDS
Designers, builders and operators of existing and future plant must all be aligned to optimise opportunities to significantly reduce and decarbonise energy usage.

Uisce Éireann(UE) will outline their Energy Efficient Design systems, and their investment plans to engage and upskill the market place and align them with UEs processes 

Target Audience – water and waste treatment market service and equipment designers and providers

Delivering Climate Action to the School Sector
Lansdowne Room, 1st Floor, RDS
This session will focus on requirements of the school sector to 2030 and towards 2050. It will cover the strategic vision and initial high level trajectory and developing approach for the school sector to meet the 2030 targets. It will also address the  scale of the challenge for the school sector,  the required enablers and technical issues.  It will also present technical and financial learnings from 5 years of pathfinder projects on over 60 schools. The Department looks forward to engaging with the marketplace and sharing approach for upscaling decarbonisation delivery over the next number of years.

Target Audience – Design team professionals, Contractors and Suppliers of decarbonisation equipment and services.
 

Thursday 30th March

Third level energy decarbonisation – learning to date and investment to 2030
Lansdowne Room, 1st Floor, RDS
The 3rd level sector is leading regarding testing and demonstrating decarbonised building solutions. This session will focus on learning from different building decarbonisation piloted solutions and planning for large scale deployment.

Target Audience – building/campus design services, building decarbonisation technologies and solution providers 

Local Authority Climate Action Roadmap Marketplace
Lansdowne Room, First Floor, RDS
This session will focus on how the local authority uses and influences energy usage in their county and their wish to engage the marketplace for services and projects.
