Event Description The TRANSLATE project funded by Met Éireann aims to standardise national climate projections for Ireland and develop climate services to meet the Irish adaptation sector’s climate information requirements. As part of the TRANSLATE project, we are soliciting stakeholder input to identify the climate services and outputs the Irish sectors require to support the planning and implementation of climate adaptation. The workshop will provide further information on the TRANSLATE project, show international examples of climate services, and provide an opportunity for you to contribute to Irish climate service development by providing input on: the data, information, and indices required to inform climate risk assessments the outputs and tools to support climate adaptation planning and implementation cross-sectoral interactions and co-dependencies The workshop is scheduled for 9:30 to 12:30, 12th January 2022. Participants from sectors, local government, government agencies, and academia are invited to join the workshop.
