Event Description Western Forestry Co-op, are hosting an Open Day to showcase Woodland Creation on Public Lands at the recently established 40 hectare HSE Cloonamahon Native Woodland Park near Sligo. This is a half day event which will include short presentations on the establishment of the woodland from initial inspection to 100K trees being planted, carbon stored in the woodland, the different forestry options that are available in the new Forestry Programme and a tour of the newly created woodland, amenities and trails.
